This boozy food festival is a utopia for meat lovers, taking place at Tobacco Dock in East London. Meatopia features 50 of the best live-fire chefs from the UK and around the world, all cooking over wood or charcoal and serving one carefully curated dish each. The menu is served up alongside frosty drinks and soundscaped by live bands and DJs.

​This exciting celebration of the literary arts returns to Queen’s Park for another year. There’s a stellar lineup of authors and speakers offering a mix of free and paid talks. This year’s programme includes Naga Munchetty, Zadie Smith, Hanif Kureishi, Alan Hollinghurst, Thomasina Miers, Sophie Elmhirst and many more inspiring literary minds.

This free carnival-themed festival returns to Camberwell Green for its second year. This year, they’ll be offering free food for the first hour (12pm-1pm), free rum punch, live music & DJs, a steel band, arts & crafts stalls, and exciting games for all ages.

Join professional forager, George Fredenham - aka Flavour Fred, on a fungi-focussed foraging walk around Hackney Marshes. You’ll learn how to identify fungi and other seasonal ingredients. Fred will also teach you preservation techniques and will share a few tasters for you to enjoy along the way.

Brentford’s annual art festival, Creative Mile, offers you the chance to explore a diverse programme of exhibitions and open studios from over 100 participating artists. Spread across 25 venues, the trail includes a mix of industrial buildings, historic sites, and unconventional spaces such as a convent, boatyard, and local pubs.
