Ronnie Scott’s, the world-famous jazz bar in Soho, is hosting a free summer street party this weekend. The street party will be running from 11am-5pm on Saturday and will feature a stage hosting a wide range of jazz performers and DJs, plus al-fresco bars, street food, and a whole host of family-friendly activities to enjoy.

Dates: Saturday 2nd August (11am-5pm)

Price: Free (no ticket required)

London’s answer to the Edinburgh Fringe returns for its 19th year, bringing 450+ performing arts shows to 20+ venues around Camden until 24th August. Expect performances ranging from stand-up comedy, theatre, and spoken word, to kids’ shows, dance, and even magic. You can check out the full events programme here.

Take to the sky this summer and enjoy a packed schedule of open-air rooftop film screenings at two London locations - Peckham’s Bussey Building, and Stratford’s Roof East. NOW Gallery in Greenwich Peninsula is hosting Charity Super.Mkt until 31st August, the UK’s first ever multi-charity shop. Like a department store for second-hand fashion, they bring clothes from the UK’s most-loved charity retailers all under one roof. All proceeds go towards brilliant charitable causes, so pop down for some guilt-free shopping, knowing you’re doing your bit whilst helping to keep clothes out of landfill.

This new free exhibition at the Science Museum explores how science is creating more sustainable ways of producing and consuming food. This interactive, multi-sensory exhibition allows you to see fascinating food items, such as a 3,500-year-old loaf of bread and the first beef steak grown outside a cow, and then take part in a large multiplayer game where you can create your own future for food.
