London’s citywide celebration of video games returns, offering the chance to play exciting new and unreleased games from around the world, alongside a packed lineup of talks, workshops, musical performances, and a Mario Kart bottomless brunch.

The Garden Museum in Lambeth is hosting its annual spring plant fair, gathering expert plant growers from around the country to sell some of the best garden plants you can find. There’s also a bunch of walks and talks on topics like starting your own community garden and urban fruit foraging.

This fun-filled taco festival is taking over Freight Brixton on Saturday, bringing together London’s best taco traders for a Mexican-style fiesta. Taste London’s best tacos, sip your way through Margaritas, enjoy a live Mariachi Band, and discover the best hot sauces, whilst live DJs keep the party going.

The groundbreaking new V&A East museum opens its doors on Saturday after more than 10 years of planning. Set across 5 floors in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the new museum houses hundreds of objects from the V&A’s collection. Also launching is their inaugural exhibition, “The Music is Black: A British Story,” which reveals how Black British music has shaped British culture.
Date: Opening Saturday 18th April
