Legendary DJ, Pete Tong, is headlining a free show at All Points East in Victoria Park on Sunday. This free community event features a diverse line-up of live acts, entertainment, and activities for the entire community. Joining Pete Tong on the bill is DJ Yoda, whose “50 Years of Hip Hop” show takes you on a journey through the genre’s history by combining well-known beats with cutting-edge visuals.

​Free Books Festival is a non-profit dedicated to bridging the gap in access to literature. This year’s festival takes place on Sunday at Big Penny Social in Walthamstow and features a jam-packed day of activities, workshops, panels and demonstrations - as well as their iconic “Free Books Store” full of hundreds of brand new books for you to choose and take home courtesy of their publishing partners.

Price: Name your price - all donations are helping build a community library in Senegal.
14 of East London’s best-loved cafes, pubs and restaurants are coming together for a food trail in support of St Joseph’s Hospice. For 10 days, each venue will donate a portion of the profits from selected items to help the hospice continue providing compassionate care to people in the community. Every Sunday in August, you can get free unlimited 60-minute Santander Cycles rides. Free codes are available here, and can be redeemed at any docking station or through the Santander Cycles app. You can take as many rides as you like with the code, but you’ll need to dock your bike within 60 minutes to avoid incurring extra charges.

Much-loved Chelsea pub, The Surprise, are hosting a free Street Party & Summer Fete this Sunday. There will be a classic British BBQ, facepainting, Pimms, garden games, and Sunday Roasts, plus live singing and dance performances from Swing Patrol.
