2024 marks the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy. To commemorate this, the RAF Museum London will be hosting a weekend long celebration. Take part in one of their free Swing Dance workshops, listen to the adventures of pilots, enjoy live music and learn more about the RAF’s history.

The London Festival of Architecture is taking place throughout June with a host of interesting events and talks, including this walking tour around St Pancras. Dive into the fascinating history of municipal socialism, rent strikes and housing protests and explore the distinct architectural styles of public and private housing in the area, from the warm red bricks of the eighteenth century and the cold concrete, glass and steel of 21st century.

The People’s Tavern is living up to their name with free wine tasting at their Loire Blooms Big Festival this weekend. Indulge in some Loire wines, enjoy some live music and even pair it with a craft workshops like Painting (£15), candlemaking (£20) or even terrarium planting (£25).

Summer is finally here and if you’re in the mood to celebrate, the Kings Street Summer Fest is happening this weekend in Hammersmith. There’ll be over 100 pop-up stalls, free walking tours about the LGBT+ histories of the area (both guided and self-guided), and you can add your own paper flower to their rainbow wall or even buy a flower crown to support the West London Queer Project.
