Transport yourself to a lively Sicilian village without leaving zone 1! Indulge in a feast of authentic regional specialities, like freshly prepared pasta, grilled meats, arancini and cannoli. All of this is accompanied by top-notch entertainment including live performances from Sicilian artists and interactive masterclasses with acclaimed Sicilian and Italian chefs.

London’s Rooftop Film Club is back from this bank holiday weekend! Running throughout the Summer, you can head to either their Peckham or Stratford venue to watch recent blockbusters, cult classics and nostalgic favourites.

This is a good one for the kids this bank holiday! The wetland restoration charity WWT is hosting pond-dipping at their London location where you can learn all about what goes on in the underwater world of ponds. It’s included in your admission ticket so you can explore the nature reserve and get up close with some of the resident otters.

This vibrant canal festival takes place in the heart of London’s waterways. Expect to be surrounded by colourful craft of all shapes and sizes, alongside a multitude of unique stalls, a real ale bar, live music, and delicious foods for all appetites. Plus the legendary illuminated boat procession is happening at 9pm on Sunday evening!

Kew Gardens is especially beautiful this time of year, and to make it even better a brand new exhibition from leading contemporary artist Marc Quinn is opening this weekend. Running throughout the Summer, Light into Life presents 17 stunning stainless steel and bronze sculptures around the Gardens and in the Temperate House alongside a presentation of Quinn’s new and existing paintings, drawings, sculptures and evocative frozen works.
